Activities
Center activities include the following types of initiatives:
- Use asset-based, capacity-building, and promotional models and frameworks for developing innovative and promising practices.
- Review and synthesize research findings from diverse fields of inquiry to identify the characteristics of nontraditional models and theories for informing the development of innovative and promising practices.
- Conduct research and evaluation studies examining the key characteristics and consequences of asset-based, capacity building, and promotional approaches to intervention with children and families.
- Translate findings from field tests, research studies, and evaluation studies of innovative and promising practices into methods and procedures for promoting healthy child and family functioning.
- Produce products and materials for dissemination of validated innovative and promising practices.
