Goals
The goals of the Center for Innovative and Promising Practices are:
- Identify and employ nontraditional conceptual frameworks or models for guiding the development of asset-based, capacity-building, and promotional practices.
- Conduct research reviews and syntheses informing the development and implementation of innovative and promising practices.
- Engage in applied research implementing, testing, and validating innovative and promising practices.
- Develop practice guides, intervention methods, and procedures based on the development of innovative and promising practices with an emphasis on the characteristics of the practices associated with optimal positive benefits.
- Implement and evaluate training methods for promoting the use of innovative and promising practices.
- Disseminate and promote utilization of validated innovative and promising practices.
